FOUR EPOS COURSES FALL 2011

On Monday 24 October, the EPOS graduate network organizes a workshop for PhD students on Learning and Memory and on 24-25 November a toolkit on Computational Modelling. On Thursday 15 December, the day preceding the NVP conference in Egmond aan Zee, there are two EPOS workshops for PhD students, one on Positive Journal Interactions (for beginning PhD students) on Writing a Grant Proposal (for advanced PhD students).

EPOS workshop Learning and Memory: of Mice and Men

On October 24, 2011, a one-day EPOS workshop on Learning and Memory will be held at the Cognitive Science Center Amsterdam (CSCA) in downtown Amsterdam. The organizers are Lucia Talamini and Martijn Meeter.

EPOS toolkit Computational Modelling

On November 24-25, 2011, the two-day EPOS Toolkit Computational Modeling will be held at the UvA and VU in Amsterdam. The organizers are Jaap Murre and Martijn Meeter.

Two EPOS workshops Egmond aan Zee

For the day preceding the NVP conference (Thursday 15 December) the EPOS graduate network organizes in Egmond two workshops for PhD students.

The first workshop is on Positive Journal Interactions (for beginning PhD students) and is given by Eric-Jan Wagenmakers. This course focuses on the review process and on how to interact with journals. The second workshop is on Writing a Grant Proposal (for advanced PhD students) and is given by Sander Nieuwenhuis and Guido Band. This course teaches how to write a grant proposal.
