Homepage of prof.dr. P.A. Dykstra


Pearl Dykstra’s publications are on family change, aging and the life course, aging societies, intergenerational ties, and loneliness. Her research program at the Erasmus University Rotterdam is a continuation of her work on families, generations and the life course with a specific focus on the role of welfare states in cross-national comparative analyses. In 2004 she was elected as a member of the Dutch Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
