Philosophy and Arts

The Center for Philosophy and Arts is a personal initiative by the philosophers of the Faculty of Philosophy of Erasmus University. It was established in 1990 by founder dr. A. Prins. Scientists whom are aligned to this center focus their research within the fields of philosophy and art. In academic curricula within the Bachelor of Philosophy the combination of art & philosophy is an important theme as well. Members of this center are participating in debates, are giving lectures and workshop and are publishing within academic journals.
