Global University Entrepreneurial Students' Survey (GUESSS) Results Presented at ECE Congress 2014

A recent study conducted by ECE (the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship) and the Erasmus University Rotterdam found that the number of full-time students who also run their own business has doubled since 2012. The study surveyed 10,000 Dutch students throughout the Netherlands. In 2012, the percentage of student-entrepreneurs was 3%; by 2014 the number had increased to 6%. Despite the significant increase in student-entrepreneurs, Dutch students are, on average, less entrepreneurial when compared to other countries. The results of the study were presented by prof. Roy Thurik at the annual ECE Congress

On September 10th, 2014, the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) hosted the annual ECE Congress in Rotterdam. The Congress was held on the 11th floor of the Rotterdam Science Tower, which is headquarters of the ECE Campus. The theme of this year's event was Embracing Disruptive Innovation & Growth.
