Jochem Cuppen

Jochem is passionate about creative, innovative and amibitious people. People who are not afraid to make mistakes and work hard to reach their goals. Currently he is doing his MSc Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

As a projectmanager for the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship Jochem is responsible for the coordination of various projects like the organization of Get in the Ring, the development of the Masterclass Entrepreneurship, external relations and together with Jurgen Nieuwenhuijsen the contact person for the ECE team and applications.

According to Jochem the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship should become a leading centre for entrepreneurship in Europe within 5 years and in collaboration with the Universities of Delft and Leiden, through the Holland Program on Entrepreneurship, Zuid-Holland should become a leading region in Europe and the world.

Jurgen Nieuwenhuijsen

Jurgen is passionate about film, sport and food. Cooking for friends and family and seeing them have a good time. For Jurgen it's all about creating new things. Development, technology and innovation. 

Currently Jurgen is doing his MSc Transport, Infrastructure and Technology at Delft University of Technology. As coordinator of entrepreneurial education and research at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship Jurgen is responsible for the Erasmus Collegereeks, the development of the minor Entrepreneurship, Trainingsreeks voor ondernemers and together with Jochem Cuppen the contact person for the ECE team and applications. 

Jurgen's goal within the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship is to create the Erasmus University as a top of mind place for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial activities. Actively stimulate and promote entrepreneurship under its current students through education and events. Inviting Erasmus University alumni on the university campus as participants or speakers at programmes and connecting entrepreneurs through the extended Erasmus network.

Sofia Karali

Sofia believes that tomorrow belongs to those who are passionate with what they are doing and have vision today. She likes to work with innovative and creative people and share a common goal with them.

Recently, Sofia is in her last year of MSc Entrepreneurship and Strategy Economics and for her thesis investigates the effectiveness of Entrepreneurship education programmes. Regarding her role at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship she draws on her varied academic background to deliver projects and brings her new ideas to the team. Her goal is to keep track of progress and support of educational entrepreneurship programmes within the university and make sure that everything is as planned.

Thomas Anbeek

Thomas is passionate about a variety of things, supporting entrepreneurs and analyzing and streamlining workprocesses are just some of these. For Thomas it is all about building new things and making sure that exsisting things are done as good as they can be.

He is currently doing his MSc Work- and Organisational- Psychology at Utrecht University. At the Erasmus Centre of Entrepreneurship Thomas works on entrepreneurial education. Helping with the organisation of the Erasmus Collegereeks is one of his challenges.  

His goals at the Erasmus Centre of Entrepreneurship includes supporting entrepreneurs with starting or growing their company, making sure that there are sample oppurtunities for entrepreneurs to get educated at the Erasmus University and inspire students and starters to become entrepreneurial.

Milan Jansen

Milan Jansen is an Economics & Informatics student at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

He loves a good IT challenge and his job within the Eramus Centre for Entrepreneurship team provides plenty of those. His task within the team is managing all the IT infrastructure and helping the team with any IT problems they might encounter.

Aron de Boks

Aron adores sports and meeting new people. He loves to work and talk with people that are ambitious and have the boldness to think out of the box. If you can dream it, you can do it.

He is currently doing his MSc Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing at the Rotterdam School of Management and is helping prof. dr. Justin Jansen with his newest research project: De Erasmus Ondernemerschapsindex. In October this research will be presented during the Erasmus Ondernemerschap Congres with the theme ‘From Startup to Scale-up’ which Aron is organizing. In the period from August till March Aron was active in the business support of the ECE at the Startup Campus and helped organizing the Get Started programme.     

According to Aron the Erasmus Centre of Entrepreneurship should be “the powerful Centre” which support leading entrepreneurs in and across Rotterdam. This region should be the place to start your business because of the knowledge, network and expertise in this region. This should attract more inspiring (future) entrepreneurs to the region and the Erasmus University.

Lyza Sebaihi

Lyza is a Communication and Media student at the Erasmus University who believes that creativity is in the eye of the beholder. She is passionate about travelling, watching documentaries and sports.                                                                                             

Within the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, Lyza takes care of the communication, such as the corporate brochure and the newsletter of the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. Her goal is to support convey the message and goal of the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, namely that creative, innovative entrepreneurship is the engine of tomorrow’s society

Roberto Touza

Coming from a business family, Roberto was first entrepreneur, Civil Engineering and then MSc in Business & Administration.

With 21 years he founded his first company. Together with his 15 employees, developed work for ministries, foundations and private companies through more than 50 real estate projects.

Roberto launched the first national project to implement GIS software for manage one of the largest infrastructures in Galicia as researcher in the University La Coruña.

In 2011, Roberto participated in Entrepreneur Moderna Grant, an annual internationally program for innovative entrepreneurs with support of the top prestigious IESE Business School and the Navarre Government. The result: Roberto launched two start-ups using Lean/Agile method with other 5 entrepreneurs: Last mile and NadieLabs.

Withing the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship Roberto is working in the organization of Get in the Ring project. 

Roberto’s goal within the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship is to push Get in the Ring project to one of the biggest movement for help and recognize the work developed by thousands of entrepreneurs across the world.

Entrepreneurs are the main engine of our current and future economy. Entrepreneurship must be recognize as the most valuable resource for each country and tried protected so much as possible form the difficult environment and help entrepreneurs create value and jobs.
