
New entrance University Library
Because of the renovation of C-hall, the official entrance to the UL will be inaccessible for at least one year. In May 2011, the entrance of the University Library was moved to the east side of the building opposite building G.
The renovation of C-hall is part of the restructuring of the entire Woudestein campus. More information

Walking route in the UL
If your destination is the Information or Circulation Desk or the Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet, we advise you to go upstairs by the Posthumus room. If you go by the Langeveld room, please consider the people who need silence there to study.
Lockers and baskets
The lockers and baskets have also been moved to the new entrance. The lockers can be used with a pin code, free of charge. You can take one of the baskets near the entrance to carry your study supplies with you.
Information for disabled visitors
If you want to visit the University Library and you have a physical disability, you can use the library’s service entrance. This entrance is located on the west side of the building, opposite the (closed) entrance to C-hall. You can use the intercom at the entrance to contact the guard, who give you access.
Add credit to your your Chip Card
Copies and prints in the University Library are paid by Chip Card. Credit can be added with the machine of the ABN AMRO bank in the H buidling up untill the 7th of July. Because of the renovation, the bank is moving to another building. We advize to make sure that your card has enough credit before you make copies or prints.
The ABN AMRO office (located between C- and H-building) moves to a temporary accommodation on car park P1, side L-building / V-building.
The ABN AMRO office will open the doors on 1 August in the temporary building.
From Monday 11 July the cash points are in use on Tinbergen Plaza. Due to relocation, the cashpoints can’t be used on Friday 8 July.
We also sell prepaid Chip Cards.
