The library is undertaking applied research directed at the further development of information services in the following areas:
- Data management / Erasmus Data Service Centre (EDSC)
All sorts of data sets are used in education and research. These often form the basis of scientific publications. Good management of these data sets is very important for the EUR and the Erasmus MC. Read more…
- Erasmus Studio / VKS
The Erasmus Studio has been up and running since 1 June 2007. The Erasmus Studio is a sub-centre of the new Virtual Knowledge Studio (VKS) for the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in Amsterdam. The Erasmus Studio is set up by the Erasmus School of Economics (principal partner) and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The library participates in a number of projects. Read more…
- EURlib / e-learning
The rapid development of e-learning has inspired the library to become involved in the university-wide ‘Working Together on ICT&E’ program. Within the EURlib project, new services have been developed and existing services have been improved. Read more…
- NEREUS
For a number of years now, the library has been a consortium member of NEREUS (Networked Economics Resources for European Scholars). NEREUS is a network of leading European economics information providers. The focus is on integrating access to the economics resources of key libraries, academic publications and other online resources in Europe and beyond. Read more…
