Nereus

The Nereus consortium, of which the library has been a member for some years, is a network of leading European economics and business information providers. The focus is on indexing the most important recent European literature in this subject field. Having realised the project, Economists Online, the University Library is now ready, together with the other partners, to implement the EC project, Network of European Economists Online (NEEO).

Network of European Economists Online (NEEO)
NEEO aims to create a European open-access network for economics and business research. The network will be based on the content of the institutional repositories of the partners. NEEO shall endeavour to publish the recent economic publications of these institutions, as well as the complete scientific output of 500 leading researchers via a central multilingual portal – all this, of course, respecting authors' rights and copyright.

The portal will offer specific services for researchers, students and policy makers in the public and private sector. Through the portal, economic knowledge will become more visible and more easily accessible. NEEO will thus become a shared showcase for top European research in areas that are important for the EUR, such as economics and business administration.
