Language courses

A language laboratory offering approximately forty courses for self-study has been set up on the main floor of the University Library, opposite the information desk. The courses are installed on two computers and the accompanying textbooks are housed in the adjacent bookcase.

These courses are designed for self-study in the library and are not for loan. The computers cannot be reserved. Headphones are available at the information desk.

• Gente: curso de espanol basado and El enfoque por tareas
• Cambridge preparation for the TOEFL test
• The new Russian without difficulty
• Modern French grammar

Tip: type ‘talenpracticum’ in the search box of the UL catalogue and select the search key ‘shelfmark’ and you’ll see a list of all the courses available. The catalogue not only lists courses installed on the two computers in the language laboratory but also courses that are available in book form only.

In addition to the language laboratory in the University Library, the Erasmus University also offers language courses and tests through the Language & Training Centre (LTC).
