Requesting periodicals
You cannot borrow periodicals in printed form but you can peruse and copy them. This year’s issues of a periodical can be found in the Langeveldzaal or Meeszaal. Older issues are kept in the closed stacks.
If you would like to peruse older issues of a periodical you can request up to five bound volumes at a time with this web form. For more volumes you can make an appointment through the information desk or the Virtual Desk.
You can indicate on the form whether you will visit the circulation desk the following day or if you wish to be notified when the volume or volumes are ready for you.
The request number of a periodical can be found in the UL catalogue. This is usually a P number or a Z number (e.g. P 10.976).
