Internationaal - Statistische informatie/data

Met betrekking tot statistieken zijn talloze publieke cijfers te vinden op internet; deze collectie is slechts een selectie. Onderstaande selectietools en portals geven verdere hulp bij het vinden van meer relevante websites.
De gekozen statistieken sites zijn afkomstig van gouvernementele en intergouvernementele organisaties en non-profit organisaties uit de publieke sector. Toch zijn ook deze statistieken niet altijd even betrouwbaar. Cijfers zijn gemakkelijk te manipuleren en enquêtevragen zijn niet altijd even objectief. Op internationaal gebied is dit zeker een moeilijk vraagstuk, omdat het veel landen ontbreekt aan een betrouwbaar en volledig onderzoeksinstituut.
