Requesting tours or training

You can use this page to request a tour or training as a professor or on behalf of a group of students. After you have filled in the form, a UL staff member will get in touch with you personally.

Library instruction is part of the curriculum in all faculties. This instruction consists mostly of a demonstration or lecture, a tour through the University Library (UL) and a practical section with a course-related search assignment.

Form for tour

A tour through the UL building, for a maximum of twelve people per group. A tour takes about twenty minutes.

Form for 'Get to know the UL'

A tour of the UL building, catalogue and website. A group may contain no more than twelve people. The tour of the catalogue and website will take place in the University Library. This instruction will take about forty-five minutes.

Form for Customized training

Customized training can take different forms: an introduction to specific databases, a library instruction coupled with search assignments, a general lecture on information literacy, etc.

A few concrete examples:

Introduction to PubMed and PsycINFO for iBMG students (Dutch only)
