Specific databases

Many databases offer their own manuals and online (live) instructions. These help you make the best use of the capabilities of the database. Here you will find an overview of manuals for databases in the field of culture studies.


  • A bibliographical database on sociology and related fields. ‘Culture and social structure’ is just one of these fields. This database contains abstracts of articles, conference papers, books and dissertations. You can find the full text of the needed article directly using 360 Link.


  • A citation database: using this database, you can look up who has cited a particular journal article. The Arts and Humanities Citation Index is just one of the components of this database.
