UL Instruction   Online Scholarly Collaboration   Colophon

This course was developed by the University Library (UL) of the Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a part of the UL’s Information literacy modular training method.

This course is the result of an Erasmus Studio project, made possible by the support of SURF, the higher education and research partnership organization for Information and Communication Technology. SURF has made some videos about the collaboratory projects. Watch them on SURF's YouTube Channel. To locate them quickly, just type the word collaboratory into the searchbox.

Most of the content of this course is based on our experiences creating a collaboratory for the Virtual Knowledge Studio, which Erasmus Studio is a part of. We therefore thank all members of these studios.

You can recognize examples or tips based on the experiences of the VKS members by this light bulb. See this short video (in Dutch with English subtitles) for more background information on the Virtual Knowledge Studio Collaboratory project.

For comments and suggestions about the course, please use the feedback form. This form is available at the bottom of the menu to the left. For support when starting you own collaboratory, please contact the persons mentioned below.
