Creating in-text citations or footnotes
With the Write-n-Cite feature you can create a paper with in-text citations or footnotes in a Word-document. First you have to install Write-n-Cite from your RefWorks account. Click on Tools and choose Write-n-Cite.
There are two versions of Write-n-Cite available. Write-n-Cite 4 is the most user-friendly, but this version only works with Word 2007 and higher. If you use an older version of Word you have to install Write-n-Cite III - this version can be found under the link Previous Versions. Follow the installation menu: installing Write-n-Cite can take some time.
Do you have a Mac? Then use the link Write-N-Cite for Mac. There are also two versions available, depending on your version of Word.
