  • Designing, teaching, and testing a novel interuniversity course on the ‘data science life cycle’ to enable interdisciplinary, collaborative research on healthcare projects

Despite the importance of data science in health, the gap between commercial and academic research in this field in increasing. Our current educational programmes teach single aspects of the so-called “data life cycle” in isolation, but not as a whole.
In line with the EUR’s Strategy 2024 to ensure future-oriented education, this fellowship researches the creation of a new, interactive, interdisciplinary, interuniversity course to teach students and academic professionals to transform data from various sources into understandable and actionable knowledge in healthcare. The course will be a master class for master students, PhD students, and academic professionals interested to improve project collaboration on healthcare research using state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
