Faculty Board General
The administrative organisation of a faculty is regulated in broad outline in the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW), amended in 1997 by the Modernisation of University Administrative Organisation Act (MUB), which as regards the EUR came into effect on 1 January 1998.
The faculty administrative organisation is regulated in detail in the EUR Administration and Management Regulations (BBR) and in the faculty regulations of each faculty.
The University Council Regulations regulate the duties of the faculty councils. The faculty regulations provide for the administration of faculty study programmes, of the research to be conducted within the faculty and of the basic units (capacity groups).
