The EUCC aims at contributing to the Sino-Dutch economic and cultural relationship by initiating, supporting and guiding mutually beneficial joint academic projects and activities.
PhD research, highly qualified joint research projects, applied research and surveys, contact research projects (feasibility studies, market research, study tour projects).
For example, 8 Chinese PhD’s from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, East China University of Politics and Law and Shanghai Maritime University. “I strongly felt the big differences between ‘developed’ and ‘developing’ countries. We still have a long way to go”, said Xiandong Zhang, one of the Postdoctoral researchers from Fudan University.

Erasmus University China Centre News
On 14 June 2019 the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tsinghua University renewed their MoU. Before the signing ceremony, both presidents had the opportunity to meet each other and exchange gifts.

From 22 May until 25 May the Department of History of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication hosted an international conference called: River Societies: Old Problems, New Solutions.
On 25 April 2019, a delegation from China Center of International Economic Exchange (CCIEE), led by Prof. LIU Kegu, the Vice Chairman of Academy Committee of CCIEE visited the EUR.
