On Thursday 11 October, the newly arrived PhD's from China had a big lunch at the Faculty Club.
It was one of their first encounters with a Dutch way of having lunch. Some arrived just a few days before, so there was still much to get used to. The group consisted of PhD's from ESL, RSM, ESE and Erasmus MC.
During the lunch there were much talks about all kinds of Dutch subjects. From typical characteristics of the country till food habits. Both Prof. Hans de Doelder (2nd left, backrow) and Mr. Ton van der Pijl (center, backrow) had an enjoyable time explaining these details to everybody.
