Lists

As much as possible, group together words relating to every item in a list.

Every item that starts with a capital letter should end with a full stop or other punctuation mark denoting the end of a sentence (e.g., question mark or exclamation mark).

Every item that starts with lower case should end with a semi-colon; the final item should end with a full stop.

Example 01:

Three questions were discussed at last month’s meeting:

  • Do the participants still want to hold consultations?
  • What should those consultations cover?
  • Do we want to hire an external expert to chair the consultations?

Example 02:

The Management Team meeting discussed the following points: a. corporate events; b. opening of the academic year; c. new CRM system; d. Talent Day.

Example 03:

The Management Team meeting discussed the following points:

  • corporate events;
  • opening of new academic year;
  • new CRM system;
  • Talent Day.
