If you arrive at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, you can either take public transport or a taxi to Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR).
If you would like to travel by public transport, you will need the 'OV-Chipkaart' (public transport chip card), which can be purchased at places like AKO (newsagent at the airport). You can reach the city centre of Rotterdam and Rotterdam Central Station by taking the metro or the bus. You can find more information about these two options below, but can also plan the trip yourself through the 9292 website.
The RandstadRail (metroline E) provides speedy and easy access from the Airport to Rotterdam Central Station. In order to reach the metro station, you need to take the Airport Shuttle (Busline 50). Your journey to the RandstadRail Metro Station (Meijersplein) with the Airport Shuttle (Busline 50) takes about 10 minutes. The travel from that metro station to Rotterdam Central Station will take another 10 minutes.
The city centre of Rotterdam and Rotterdam Central Station can also be reached by taking RET bus 33. The bus stop can be found next to the terminal building. The journey takes about 25 minutes. See the timetable for Busline 33 for more information.
We suggest you take a look at the several route descriptions that describes how you can get to one of our campuses. To get an idea of what our campuses and Rotterdam look like, have a look at the map.
The taxis are available directly outside the terminal building.
