2021-2022 tuition fees will be halved for first-year students **

Everyone who studies in the academic year 2021-2022 will receive a €1,084 discount on the regular tuition fees mentioned below. This applies to both the statutory fee and the institutional fee (also for international students).

* If you are going to follow a pre-master's program in 2021-2022, this discount will be included in the compensation pro rata.

** Eligible students will pay half of the reduced statutory tuition fee in the 2021-2022 academic year: €542 (see the Q&A of the Government).

  3. Bachelor Philosophy parttime: institutional fee equals the statutory fee = €2,168.
  4. Bachelor Philosophy of a specific discipline: institutional fee equals the statutory fee for students from Erasmus University Rotterdam that started the Bachelor Philosophy of a specific discipline during their main programme: €2,168.

  3. Researchmaster Mphil in Economics, joint master with UvA and VU and Research master Mphil in Business Data Science, joint degree master with UvA and VU: €15,700.
  4. Masters ESHPM parttime, 50% of fulltime: €6,150 per year.
  5. Eu-HEM, joint degree ESHPM, Innsbruck, Oslo and Bologna: €6,000
  6. Researchmaster Public Administration and Organizational Science, joint master with UU and UvTilburg, please check the UU-website for information about rates.
  7. Master Philosophy parttime: institutional fee equals the statutory fee = €2,168.
  8. Master Philosophy : institutional fee equals the statutory fee for students that successfully completed the Bachelor Philosophy of a specific discipline at Erasmus University Rotterdam = €2,168.
  9. Master IMARC: EER rate is €4,500 euros and non-EER rate is €9,000 euros.

More information about the statutory fee for EU/EEA students

There are two requirements in order to be eligible for the EEA/EU students statutory fee in 2021-2022:

  1. You have an EEA/EU, Swiss or Surinamese nationality or you meet the other requirements mentioned in article 7.45a, paragraph 1(b) of the WHW. Is you want to check whether you fulfill the requirements with regards to the nationality, please visit the DUO website about student finance. Next to this requirement, you also have to fulfill:

  2. You have, since 31 August 1991, not been awarded a degree in Dutch higher education that is equivalent of your current programme of study . In case you have an uninterrupted registration for a second (or more) programme before finishing your first programme, you pay the statutory fee for the second (or more) programme after you have finished the first programme as long as your registration for this programme is uninterrupted. In addition, an exception applies here for programmes in the field of Healthcare and Education. After you have obtained a non-healthcare or non-education degree, you are permitted to obtain one more degree in healthcare or one more degree in education. If you do not fulfil both requirements, you pay the institutional tuition fee. Prices differ per study and per person. More information on the requirements for the statutory fee is available on this website.
