Students in the field of Health Sciences, Medicine, Biology, or any other life science program are welcome to apply for a research elective at Erasmus MC if they have completed at least three years of their university training.
Students from partner universities
If your home university has signed a Memorandum of Understanding or a bilateral agreement with Erasmus MC (within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program), we will try our best to find a placement in one of the departments. Please note that your university needs to contact us and nominate you first. Without this nomination, it will not be possible to start a research elective at Erasmus MC.
Students from other universities
If your university does not have any agreement with us, options to perform a research project cannot be guaranteed, although we will do our best to arrange a placement.
