Rules Education Center

Since the Dutch government has changed some of the corona rules, it is also getting more crowded at Erasmus MC and at the Education Center. We therefore call on all students and faculty to adhere to the following Erasmus MC rules to ensure that we can properly manage the number of people present:

  • Take the entrance to Erasmus MC at the Wytemaweg instead of the main entrance (please see here for a useful MFVR video);
  • Try to avoid the Passage as much as possible and do not stay there for short breaks;
  • If you do not feel well or have a cold, stay at home;
  • Keep a distance of 1.5 meters at all times;
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with the bend of your elbow or tissue;
  • Wash your hands as often as possible;
  • Stick to the designated 'walking routes' both in the Passage as at the white stairs and the entrance to the Education Center;
  • Keep a distance of 1.5 meters when entering or exiting a classroom as well;
  • Faculty members are also kindly requested to triage all students at the start of lectures or classes at the Education Center.

These rules have been set up in accordance with the hygienic rules at our hospital and the Infection Prevention Unit (UNIP). At this moment no other additional measures have been taken at the Education Center, such as extra cleaning facilities or soap/alcohol dispensers, although these will possibly be installed at other Erasmus MC entrances. Should you, however, wish to clean something at the Education Center yourself, cleaning cloths are available at the (Medical Libary) Information Desk.
