The dean is the general manager of the school and has the ultimate responsibility for the administration and management of the school. The dean is assisted by the vice dean, by the programme directors, and by the directors of the school’s research institutes and departments.
The dean and the vice dean receive support from the programme director and the three members of the school Administration Office, which are the Head of the Dean’s Office, the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Assistant to the Dean. This group of people meet every week to discuss the school’s policies and to determine strategy.
The dean is responsible for setting down the School Regulations and the Teaching and Examinations Regulations.
