Information Secretariat and Office Management


The secretariat opens Monday through Friday no later than 09.00h and closes no earlier than 16.00h. During the academic year one or more secretaries and / or the Assistant Office Manager are present.
Each secretary has her own specialties, but they are all available for general support and will refer you to the correct person if necessary. The secretaries (Nita, Gerda and Kim) assist with:

  • General support
  • Parking cards
  • Room keys
  • Laptops

Nita (fulltime, except every other Friday) is specialized in:

  • Teaching (grades, exams, theses, ect.)
  • Seminars
  • SIN-online
  • Theses
  • Study guide
  • Sick leave

Gerda (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) is specialized in:

  • Reservations, arrangements
  • Catering
  • Organizing small events
  • Guest accounts
  • Copyrights
  • Vacation cards

Kim (Tuesday, Thursday, every other Friday) is specialized in:

  • Reimbursement requests
  • Invoices
  • Special orders
  • Office supplies

Additional (new) services which fall within the usual secretarial support may be available. Please discuss it first with the (Assistant) Office Manager.  

Office Management 

The Assistant Office Manager (Manuela) is responsible for the following matters:

  • Questions about guests
  • Employing student-assistants
  • Orders for software or computers
  • Website
  • Furniture

The Office Manager (Ramona) will help you with matters in the areas of personnel and finances:

  • Recruitment
  • Extension of employment
  • Budget estimates
  • Long term financial planning
  • Contracts for guest lecturers
  • Projects
