Economics and Philosophy

General

The course FEB12002X - Philosophy of Economics (4 credits) is mandatory for the Bachelor IBEB as wel as for the Bachelor Philosophy of Economics. Upon completion of this course the final result will be published in Osiris with a grade for the IBEB programme; in the Philosophy programme an exemption will be granted.

Bachelor-3 Economics and Business Economics/IBEB

  • Electives (9 credits);
  • Minor (15 credits) based on the Minor of Philosophy (15 credits);
  • Bachelor's thesis (8 credits): 'Pass' based on the Bachelor's thesis of Philosophy (10 credits).

Bachelor-2 Fiscal Economics

It is not possible to bring in a thesis on a philosophy subject into the Fiscal Economics programme. For Fiscal Economics the thesis must be written on a tax subject from the bachelor's programme.

Bachelor-3 Econometrics and Operations Research

  • Electives (9 credits);
  • Minor (15 credits) based on the Minor of Philosophy (15 credits).

It is not possible to bring in a thesis on a philosophy subject into the Econometrics programme. For Econometrics the thesis must be written on a subject from the bachelor's programme Econometrics.
