About IAAE
The aim of the IAAE is to advance the education of the public in the subject of econometrics and its applications to a variety of fields in economics, in particular, but not exclusively, by advancing and supporting research in that field, and disseminating the results of such useful research to the public. The annual conference brings together leading researchers in the field to discuss and debate all aspects of econometrics, covering both its theoretical development and applied uses.
About the Econometric Institute
The Econometric Institute was founded in 1956 by Nobel Prize laureate Jan Tinbergen together with Henri Theil. Ever since its inception, the Econometric Institute has been one of the world’s hotspots for research and teaching in econometrics, with a strong focus on the usefulness of econometric and statistical methods in real-world applications. The Econometric Institute is proud to host the IAAE 2021 Annual conference as a landmark celebrating its 65th birthday.
