Pick-up service from Schiphol Airport
Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) organises a free of charge pick-up service from Schiphol Airport Amsterdam at the beginning of every semester. We have our own meeting point at the airport, where you'll be welcomed. Our buses will then drop you off at the Woudestein campus or, if so arranged, at the Erasmus Medical Centre, the Student Hotel, the StayOkay hostel or at your accommodation rented through SSH.
Pick-up service dates & time
The next pick-up services will take place in summer. The exact dates will be announced soon.
Sign up for your desired pick-up service date and time via the form on the Orientation page.
The buses will depart several times a day. Please be aware of the fact that if your flight is delayed for more than half an hour and you were planning to take the last bus of the day (usually around 20.30 hrs CEST), we will not be able to wait for you.
We will only arrange buses if there are enough registrations. If not, then our crew is more than willing to advise you about other types of transportation to your location.
Service desk at airport
You can check in at the International Office EUR service desk at the airport upon arrival. Our crew will then guide you to the bus.
Joining relatives & friends
We facilitate the pick-up service for you, EUR students, specifically. Students therefore have priority over accompanying family and friends in regard to claiming a seat on the bus.
We are therefore not able to issue seats to relatives/friends through online registration or email. Does your parent or friend still want to accompany you? Then let our airport-crew inform you about the current availability of seats as soon as you arrive at Schiphol Airport.

SSH key service
If you are going to rent a room through SSH, the pick-up service will take you to your specific housing facility. It is your responsibility to get in touch with the RA via email to confirm your date and time slot of arrival. Use the contact details provided by SSH.
To make sure the pick-up service drops you where your RA is expecting you:
- You must indicate that you are renting a room through SSH in the pick-up service registration form and mention the full address.
- You must have made a definite room registration at SSH before the pick-up service registration deadline.
- You must transfer the down payment to SSH before the pick-up service registration deadline.
If you have any questions about the pick-up service, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
