  • Keep in mind that when you transfer the tuition fees from a foreign bank account to our bank account in the Netherlands, it takes several days before Erasmus University has received your payment.
  • You also have to pay a ‘transfer fee’ to your bank. You yourself must pay for this transfer fee on top of the tuition fees.
  • Questions about your payment may be addressed to our colleagues from the Erasmus Student Service Center (ESSC). They will be happy to help you out.

Automatic payment /payment in installments (Dutch bank account required)

International students holding a Dutch bank account can use the option for 'automatic payment/direct debt authorisation' (payment in installments). This option is only possible with a Dutch bank account. As soon as your tuition fee has been established in Studielink (1 June), you will receive an e-mail from Studielink. After that, you make the arrangements for automatic payment from your Studielink account.

Make sure that Erasmus University has received your authorisation for automatic payment before August 31! Students, who failed to have arranged the authorisation for automatic payment before August 31, will experience a negative effect on their enrolment for the master programme and will have to wait until next year.
