Description of research

Operations management and demand-based approaches to health care outcomes and cost-benefits research.

The goal of this project is to develop theoretically supported but practical conceptual models and a tool kit for care logistics production systems.

The assumption is that a good care logistics production system embedded in regional care supply chains leads to better outcomes and a better cost-benefit ratio.

Managed Outcomes is a project that has been commissioned by the EU as part of FP7 Health.

This project is being carried out by the Health Care Logistics Expertise Centre.
