Explore the processes and consequences of increased economic integration, which are ongoing both within the European Union and internationally. Economic integration affects our lives in multiple ways and is often translated into policy and law. Think of the role of law in the process of European integration and in bodies such as the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in regulating international trade.
Do you want to learn more about these processes and get educated by an international teaching staff that is active in legal practice as well? If your answer is ‘yes’, then this is the Master for you!
This LL.M. provides you with the skills to analyse the effects of economic integration and its consequences for the rule of law, democracy and human rights.
Acquiring practical legal skills is an important and useful aspect of this programme. After you have graduated, you will be able to provide profound legal advice in the field of international and European law and economic integration to both public and private entities. You will also have obtained the skills to critically and constructively analyse contemporary issues in international and European Law, and a deepened insight into its theory and practice in an interdisciplinary context.
Our graduates are active in a diverse range of jobs. Some of them are working as legal (policy) advisors or as civil servants for national ministries, European and/or International institutions.
