Faculty orientation activities academic year/fall semester
The faculty orientation activities would normally start on the Thursday/ Friday before the start of the lectures or on the first day (Monday) of your academic year/ semester. Faculty introduction activities are mandatory (unless the exception is explicitly stated in the planning).
For academic year 2017-2018 (first semester) the faculty orientation activities are planned for August 31 and September 1. Below you see a more detailed planning of the faculty introduction activities.

Note: This introduction may be subject to change. Please make sure you are present at 09.00 sharp on August 31st and bring rain coats in case of bad weather.
Orientation programmes organised by EUR
Besides the mandatory orientation activities by the faculty and the programmes, Erasmus University Rotterdam also offers several other orientation programmes and highly recommends to participate in at least some of them. Most of these events take place in August. The general introduction activities organised by the central level of the university are not mandatory.
