Introduction and Orientation Bachelor Admitted Students

The faculty organises its own orientation activities (for all international students of the faculty) in the first week of each semester. Faculty introduction activities are mandatory and are very important in terms of being able to study here at ESSB. During this introduction the digital learning system of the faculty will be explained to you as well as the use of the library. In addition, you will receive a lot of relevant information you will need being an ESSB student.

Orientation/ introduction activities will also be organised by the central level of the university for all new (international) students: in August for the fall semester and in January for the spring semester. Please make sure to be in the Netherlands during that the days of the orientation / introduction activities in order not to miss these activities which are considered to be useful. They are a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn new things. NB The university introduction is not obligatory.

If you do not participate in EUR events, please make sure you arrive in time to attend the programme's introduction day.

Faculty orientation activities academic year/fall semester

The faculty orientation activities normally start on the Thursday/ Friday before the start of the lectures or on the first day (Monday) of your academic year/ semester. Faculty introduction activities are mandatory (unless the exception is explicitly stated in the planning).

For the academic year 2019-2020 (first semester) the faculty orientation activities are planned on the 29th of August and/or the 30th of August. A more detailed planning will be announced here as soon as possible.
