Nina was born and raised in Italy but moved to Shanghai in 2007 for her secondary education, where she followed the International Baccalaureate curriculum at the Western International School of Shanghai. After graduating and deciding to take a gap year, Nina chose the Netherlands as her next destination to pursue higher education. Alongside her studies at EUC, Nina took up various opportunities to further integrate in the community - working as a university ambassador, being part of the Student Council Academic Affairs, and participating in the Zimbabwe’s Study Trip.

Nina obtained a double major in Social Sciences and International Relations & Political Sciences, which exposed her to a wide variety of courses and disciplines.

Outside of the university, Nina is a total foodie - taking every chance she gets to travel to somewhere new and trying new and exciting foods from different cultures. If you have any good recommendations, make sure to share them with her!

Why do you work at EUC?

My passion and commitment to EUC grew more and more every year and I quickly realized that I loved sharing my own university experience with prospective students and helping them get a feel of what it is like to be an EUC student. One thing that attracted me to EUC when I was applying for universities was the very personal approach they had towards admissions, which is something that differentiated EUC from many other options I was considering. Thus, I found myself wanting to pass on that very feeling onto the next cohorts of students. As I was not quite ready to pursue a master programme, I chose to dedicate myself to just that - sharing my own EUC experience in both helping prospective students decide whether EUC is the place for them and working towards providing the best university experience for our students.
