Profile
After graduating in 2007 with an MA in American Studies from the University of Groningen, Bertien Kuiper started her professional career at Youth for Understanding (YFU), an exchange organization for secondary school students. Since 2009, Bertien has worked at EUR, first at the Erasmus Student Service Centre, later at the Department of Marketing & Communication. In April 2015, Bertien transferred to EUC.
In her free time, Bertien enjoys travelling, particularly across the United States. She is a passionate Feyenoord fan.
Why do you work at EUC?
After four years in the same job, I found it about time for a new challenge, which I was hoping to find at EUC when I applied for a position within the newly formed Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions & Integration team. I have definitely found this new challenge! I very much like trying to get as many good students to EUC as possible, I love working in such an inspiring environment, and I enjoy being part of such a varied group of people that works towards the same goal: turn EUC into the best option for students that are interested in Liberal Arts & Sciences.
