Dr. Liesbeth Eelens-Noordegraaf studied economics and philosophy at the Erasmus University. After her studies she worked for the Erasmus School of Economics were she was awarded the 'teacher of the year' award in 1997. Within her phd 'Contested Communication. A critical analysis of central bank speech' she combined economics and philosphy.
From 2009-2012 Liesbeth was affiliated as a senior researcher to the 'Nederlandse School voor Openbaar Bestuur' (NSOB). Currently Liesbeth is a member of the council for Health and Society, of the Academic Board of the Rotterdam Arts & Sciences Lab and of the Erasmus Institute for Public Knowledge. She spends a large time of her free time at the soccer field, watching her for children. Next to that she enjoys reading, long distance running and excellent food.
Why do you work at EUC?
I get inspired by crossing (disciplinary) borders, setting up a new organisation and smart students with an entrepreneurial attitude.
