Three years ago, Kristel de Groot founded the Erasmus Functional Impairment Studies (EFIS), a longitudinal research study that examines student mental health, and the impact that disabilities can have on study performance and well-being of university students (in particular, our own EUR students!).
In this talk, she will discuss her reasons for founding EFIS; what data has been collected over the past three years; what EFIS has discovered so far; and how the EFIS findings can be applied to university policy. Teaser: what percentage of students have a disability? No googling!
