In the eye-opening documentary “Picture a Scientist,” the war stories of three prominent female scientists at different points in their careers will be presented in conjunction with mind-blowing discoveries from the science of gender bias.

Three women speak about their diverse experiences navigating the scientific world and how their gender impacts their experience. This while also showing how their inner strength and love for their fields made it possible for them to change their surroundings for the better.

Roundtable Discussion

In addition you will receive a link to a roundtable discussion that EUR will host on 8 March EUR exploring many of the themes brought up by this film; for example looking at the tools, at both institutional and personal levels that can offer new perspectives on how to make science more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

In the round table discussion, Prof. Semiha Denktaş and Prof. Hanneke Takkenberg will answer your questions, share their best practices and search for ways to break harmful patrons in the workplace.
