Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Miss Representation exposes how mainstream media and culture contribute to the under-representation of women in leadership positions. Focusing on elements such as sexuality, beauty standards and age, the documentary highlights key figures within media, academia, governments and civil society and their endeavors within the field.
