Are you a lecturer who wants to know more about online proctoring and what it can mean for your education? Consider attending the Online Proctoring for Remote Examination (OP4RE) Multiplier Event on June 28th in Hatfield, UK!

What is online proctoring?

With online proctoring you can take remote exams in a safe and controlled way, by recording the students’ screen, audio and webcam. You can check this data yourself (live or afterwards), or let software review the material. This makes assessment more flexible and less dependent on a time and location!

The OP4RE project

Different parties joined forces within the OP4RE project to find the answers to several crucial questions related to the use of online proctoring in higher education. Such questions relate to EU-wide regulations concerning privacy, security and reliability of remote testing, and how online proctoring can support access to higher education throughout the European higher education system.

OP4RE is financed by Erasmus+ and is currently the largest project researching online assessment worldwide. The Erasmus University works together with several European institutions for higher education. The outcomes from OP4RE are expected to set the standard for online proctoring and offer a significant contribution to the field of delivering safe and secure online examination.

The Multiplier Event

During the Multiplier Event the results and recommendations of the OP4RE project will be shared. Join us on June 28th at the University of Hertfordshire for some ‘recipes of success’ in online assessment and the main ‘take-aways’ from the OP4RE project all through interactive collaborative sessions.
