With RefWorks, you can easily capture, manage, save and share references in your own personal database.

Students and employees of the EUR can participate in a Workshop RefWorks.

The following functions of RefWorks will be discussed:

  • importing references from UL-databases and Google Scholar;
  • customizing your RefWorks-account;
  • organising and managing references in your RefWorks-account;
  • creating 'stand-alone' bibliographies and
  • adding references to a Word-document with Write-n-Cite.
More information

RefWorks helps you to:

  1. Import bibliographical information from databases and catalogs (Google Scholar, sEURch, EBSCO, Pubmed, Web of Science, other specific databases or publishers' sites like ScienceDirect or SpringerLink).
  2. Manage and organize this data; create subfolders by subject; add attachments and keywords to the bibliographical information and remove duplicate records.
  3. Cite your literature in a Word-document with Write-n-Cite and create a bibliography in an output style of choice (including APA, Chicago and Harvard).

To get started, create your own RefWorks account. To make an account, you have to be inside the IP-range of the EUR, so use a computer on campus; if off-campus, you first have to log in to the EUR network via a VPN connection. When this doesn't work, please contact the University Library. To create an account you have to use your ERNA e-mail address.
