On behalf of the Dutch universities and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong we would like to invite you to a big NL alumni Zoom meeting on Thursday 8 April from 6pm - 7.30pm (HKT).
We have an interesting programme for you starting with a word of welcome by Arjen van den Berg, the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We will continue with an inspiring keynote speech by Sjoerd den Daas. Sjoerd is correspondent for NOS Dutch News Service and an alumnus of the University of Groningen. He will share insights into his work in Hong Kong and will talk about press freedom in the region.
After the keynote you will get together with your university in a break-out session followed by a plenary toast with all of you on this unique Zoom meeting.
There is ample time to ask your questions and reconnect with your alma mater, fellow EUR aumni, and alumni from other Dutch universities.
If you are interested to learn more about our keynote speaker, you may view or listen to some of Sjoerd’s articles about the current situation in Hong Kong.
