Prospective students

You can start a bachelor or (pre-)master program. We offer a complete educational program; physical on campus if possible, online or blended if necessary.

  • All prospective students and re-enrolling students will be offered a full educational program; on campus if possible, online or blended if necessary. We will also offer all exams, where necessary in an alternative form.
  • Study events are taking place; online, blended or on campus: you can visit the Bachelor Open Day and Master Open Day and be a Student for a day.

If you have a valid vaccine from outside the EU you can call the GGD. What to do?

  • Call: +31 (0)30 800 2899 to make an appointment or ask questions about the QR code
  • They are only taking appointments in Utrecht; you must travel there but it’s close to a train station;
  • You must have valid certification that has your name, date of birth, name of vaccine, lot #, date of vaccine (must be 4 weeks prior), logo of disease control center of country.

Please note: you need a bsn number in order to get the QR code!

No, it is not mandatory to be vaccinated when travelling to the Netherlands.

You’re strongly advised to have both vaccines in the same country, as not all types of vaccines are available in the Netherlands, and a timely second vaccine dose cannot be guaranteed. 

However, if it concerns a vaccine from Astra-Zeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech or ModeRNA you can get the second vaccine in The Netherlands. For more information about this, please contact

Yes, you can, subject to the basic rules. As of the easing of educational restrictions, the campus is (partially) open again. The buildings and most facilities are open again.
