1. Rotterdam Uitdagen
An event not to be missed! Rotterdam Uitdagen, a free festival, invites weekend warriors to get absorbed in the cultural life of the city. Music, arts, poetry, spoken word, and other cultural tidbits all over town.

2. Sebastião Salgado | Genesis
Nederlands Fotomuseum is proud to present Genesis, the magnum opus of world-famous Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado. Salgado visited more than forty countries for this project. The result is a series of 250 amazing photographs. From icebergs and glaciers to walruses, elephant seals and albatrosses, Salgado takes you on an adventurous journey all over the world.

3. Open Air Cinema: The Circle
To celebrate the start of the season, Studium Generale and ESN-Rotterdam organise their famous Open Air Cinema on campus. Screened will be The Circle with Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. Cushions and blankets will be provided, drinks and snacks are available at Erasmus Paviljoen, and tickets are €2,50.

4. The Rooftop
It’s a rooftop. It has the largest bbq you’ve ever seen. And it’s hot, hip and happening.

5. Rotterdam Pride
Celebrate sexual diversity and join Rotterdam Pride. Initially founded as a way to provide visibility, the event has become increasingly inclusive, addressing the whole LGBTQ community and their friends. Come and party along.

6. Open Stage Night
Studium Generale in the Grand café in Erasmus Paviljoen invites all students to come and play on stage during monthly Open Stage Nights. Show your talent or just come and watch and listen. Admission is free. Wanna be on stage? Register for a performance on the website, one week in advance.
