The sun goes down earlier, temperature goes down and the trees are losing their green colour. It’s December, Sinterklaas is making place for Santa and also block 2 is coming to an end. FAECTOR can look back at November as a busy but successful month.
First of all, a lot of econometricians visited the Econometrics Career Days and got in contact with several companies. Besides the usual cases and workshops, the companies also organised different informal activities. Students could get in contact with companies while enjoying a cooking workshop, wine tasting or mobile escape room.
Furthermore, on 19 November it was time for the legendary former board day. Over 50 former board members had a great dinner in the Oceanium of Diergaarde Blijdorp.
Lastly, on 1 December the Classy Dinner will take place. A group of students will have a fancy dinner together, after which there will be the possibility to show some dance moves while wearing the traditional black tie.
In December the second round of exams will take place. In January it will be possible to apply for several committees. Are you interested in joining the IT Committee, Sport Committee, Econometric Career Days (ECD) Committee, FAECTOR Research Project (FRP) Committee or Estimator Committee? If so, uploading your motivation letter and CV is possible already!
