London Metro Map Approach to Privacy Impact Assesment (PIA) for Academic Research

Programme Research Services invites all EUR researchers and research support staff to take part in the Research Data training sessions. During these practical sessions, you will learn how to address various aspects of research data management (RDM). After the session, you will be able to work with the EUR Document Vault and you will know how to get further assistance for data related topics in general.

During the practical sessions the following four topics will be addressed:

  1. Safeguarding privacy in researchHow can you safeguard privacy during your research? When do you need a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)?
  2. Research Data ManagementHow to use the available templates for your research data management plan and how to implement research data management?
  3. Tool - EUR Document VaultHow to safely collaborate online (inter)nationally using the EUR Document Vault? You will learn how to use this user-friendly yet safe tool.
  4. Starting May 17 - De-identification and encryptionHow to de-identify and encrypt my data?

If you would like to join our open sessions, please send an email to with your name and preferred session. Sessions from September onwards will be communicated at a later time.
