Launch of Research Agenda Impact of Logistics Parks

In the summer of 2017 Erasmus UPT developed the research agenda ‘Impact of Logistics Parks’. The research agenda unites two core themes within Erasmus UPT’s portfolio: economic impact studies and logistics and maritime analysis.

The agenda has been defined in cooperation with a wide set of stakeholders in the public and private sector. The research agenda is a guideline for research in this field for the coming 3 to 5 years, and covers three directions for future research: (1) employment, added value and multipliers; (2) spatial patterns of logistic activity; (3) trends and developments.

Pilot projects have been defined which include one or more of these directions. These pilots are planned to run in late 2017 and early 2018 and are designed to be mutually reinforcing. The pilots in the research agenda has been developed with input from the provinces Noord-Brabant, Limburg and Gelderland, as well as the Brabantse Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij and DHG.

Please find the research agenda below, which is attached to this message (In Dutch).
