Library workshops during the Share your knowledge Week

As part of the second Share your knowledge Week, workshops will be held between June 18 and June 22 by EUR colleagues, for EUR colleagues.

Colleagues of the Library will also share their knowledge. The workshops will focus on findability and visibility of  the researcher and the research output.

  • Wednesday June 20 at 13 o’clock: Are you ready to become a number?! Author identifiers and profiles – Why and how
    With author identifiers and profiles such as ORCID, ResearcherID and Google Scholar Author Profile, you can present yourself and your publications and make them visible. More and more publishers and funders require the use of author identifiers.    Bring your own laptop to create or check your own ORCID, Google Scholar Author Profile and/or Scopus Author ID during the workshop, to become more visible as a unique author.
  • Friday 22 June at 9.00 o'clock: How to publish in Open Access and why it is important for your career
    Open Access (OA) increases the findability, visibility and use of academic research results. After attending this workshop you will know how to boost your career via Open Access and have knowledge on the benefits of publishing in Open Access. The workshop offers you the tools to publish in Open Access. You will understand why Open Access is a broad international academic movement that seeks free and open online access to academic publications.
