Sanne Opree wins Erasmus University's Research Prize
And the award goes to... Dr. Sanne Opree! Erasmus University's Research Prize was handed to our Assistant Professor (Media & Communication) during the Academic Opening of the Year on Monday, September 4th. The Research Prize is for a promosing postdoctoral researcher who has put in an outstanding performance in the field of research.
One of the reasons why the jury chose for Opree was because of her public outreach and valorisation. The jury also admired the extensive international network she built in a relatively short period of time. Opree presented her work at many conferences in and outside the Netherlands and is involved in international collaborations. The jury was also very enthusiastic about the interdisciplinary nature of her research and publications.
